It was a nice choice for a brief stopover in Penclawdd with good value considering the price it charged. The bedroom had exceptional views from the windows that I really enjoyed. If you're looking for a cozy place, keep your expectations in check regarding dining setup.

The Double Room was spacious and immaculate, with a cozy vibe that made it feel like home. It had great views of the countryside, and the bathroom was lovely too—really nice for a relaxing stay. I had a good sleep in the comfy bed. Just a couple of sticky windows and the awkward bathroom door were a bit annoying, but not a big deal overall. Really enjoyed it!

The beautiful Victorian decor created a warm and inviting atmosphere, making me feel at home. The charming lounges and carefully chosen furnishings were delightful, while the spacious grounds offered easy access for leisurely strolls.

More grab bars in the bathroom would help.

We had a lovely stay for two nights, enjoying the fantastic views from our cozy room and the delightful homemade bread with breakfast. Relaxing in the gorgeous conservatory and the beautiful garden was just what we needed. The winding roads to get here were a bit tricky for our car, but totally manageable—definitely worth it for a weekend getaway! 🏡

Great customer service was evident throughout my stay, especially when the staff accommodated our dinner party despite being busy with another event. The beautifully presented food, particularly the freshly brewed coffee, showcased a high standard of home cooking. while the history of the venue added charm, some areas felt a bit cramped, and there was a slight delay in service during peak times due to the events happening.

Only wish our room was a bit bigger. it felt cramped with our luggage. Still, I’d recommend the breakfast experience!

    Charming place with friendly vibes

Spent a night here and it was lovely! The views were stunning and the staff were super friendly, especially Martin who offered us coffee in the gardens when we arrived early. The food was amazing, genuinely home-cooked and so filling! Only thing was the room could use a bit of a refresh, but it was cozy enough.
